Fantastic! I love the jaunty nature of this piece. Great!

phosphorusprocedure responds:

Glad you dig it!

FAT

Reminded me of Fu-gee-las by the Fugees. And a bit of La Caution for good measure. Excellent loop. I might use this for something if you don't mind. It will probably be a lovely time-lapse interspliced with other clips and laods of effects and stuff. The clip will probably be a bag of piss compared to this piece, but fuck you. I love this man!

What program did you use?

Amita12 responds:

Thanks, man! Go for it, all my music is free to use.

I use Fruityloops.

Just joy!

The video game sounds the other beeps and drums, just excellent. What program did you use to make this? I'm very impressed!

JohnDrawInfinity responds:

Believe it or not, I used Fruity Loops. But I don't use it the normal way. I mainly only use it to have a way to organize all my beats and samples. Most of the sound in this comes from Youtube. I sample regular ol things I find on there, use Wavepad to chop and screw them, and then use FL to edit them and turn them in to synths. Only about 10% of the shit in my songs is pre-packaged FL stuff. The other 90% is samples I edited. And I'm really really really really glad you like it : ) thanks.

Beautiful

Why haven't I discovered you sooner? This was just divine. Seriously, what programs do you use to make this? Are you really using instruments. The rain, the chimes, the kinda muted piano. Just excellent!

bnamdar responds:

Thank You A Lot :D I'm using virtual instruments (sf2 format) and The Program is Fl Studio 8

Best Classical piece I've heard on Newgrounds

I loved how you have composed this. The intertwining mandolin with the strings and the flute (I think it's a flute). Being only exposed to "pop" classical music, everything classical that I come across nowdays seems to have the same utopic or dystopic touches to it. This has that through and through. If I had to make one small criticism, it is that this piece isn't varied enough for my taste, or original enough per-say. But then again this may be seen as anti-utopic because you would be catering for me only.

What program did you use for this? Excellent work man!

bnamdar responds:

Thank You a Lot,I'm really happy that you liked it :D Instruments i used are :

Strings,Harp,Pizzicato strings,Horn,Flute and Oboe and the Program is FL Studio 8

Bit repetitive, but very well composed!

This is all very well composed and all, but it feels like the same chavtastic dance beat we heard in 2002.

What program did you use? The amount of effort and composition is very much appreciated.

Okinoth responds:

I used fl studio. Thanks for the review :)

Smiling about like!

Gave me a happy-go-lucky, india pop sorta feeling which I detest strongly. It just fits the cliche so much.

But in terms of musical arrangements and guitar playing, I thought this was very good. I liked the drums in it. Very good!

sonicExplorer responds:

Thanks a lot! I will make sure to keep those drums and probably add some guitar variety. But I didn't actually play the guitar- that's a virtual instrument that I customized.

Penderecki eat your heart out!

I liked the unsettling feel this piece gave. I didn't find it atmospheric, but it still gave a nice aura. Beautiful piano playing by the way. Or was this done with a computational device?! :P Either way, it's very good.

PizzaBox responds:

Unsettling is an atmosphere.

Cartoon Sinister!!

Those are the two words that come up in my head. It's like that Harry's new tux, how the tone suddenly changes when he is dying on the spiky fence. This piece seems to make light of the situation, which I like.

However, the piece sounds a tad too crisp and a bit too...whats the word...leveled off, for my taste?! But still very good job! I'm impressed.

CallingAllCars responds:

Thanks for the review! =]

How divine!

What programs/instruments did you use for this?

I enjoyed this a lot! I found it atmospheric, immersive. A tad typical, but that's not a bad thing. Nice one!

Lundsfryd responds:

This was done with a glass, a guitar and audacity, and that is all. Im glad you liked it :)
