aaahhh stop it handsome! :D but seriously now, i try to actually "play" anything that's lying around ma place n is recordable through a microphone ...
which is mostly acoustic and electric guitar and some percussive elements :)
all of the other stuff is handled by a midi-keyboard and a particular plugin, such as piano, bass and potential effects. but even those are still "played" on the keyboard, so i can keep it as natural as possible.
also hate quantizing stuff.
i know it often sounds out of place .. but i just like it raw :D
omg! you weren't asking any of this crap. lolz!
Excellent!
The quality of this piece is immense. Is that you playing the guitar? It's very very good. I thought at points this is a bit too much of a typical ambient piece, but I think it slips by because of the sheer crispness of it. Ace work :D
jap - that's me pickin em strings! :D thanks a lot for your review!
i'll also have a look at your stuff right away :)
Reminded me of that song Drinking in L.A
What programs did you use to make this? Sounds very professional, but not over-produced. The vocals were a bit like Trickys. Would have liked to have heard more original sounds. Nonethless it's a very good piece. I'm impressed.
i made all of this with MAGIX Music Maker. this was just me and Snappa G just fucking around with the lyrics, so i didnt bother with adding too much beats.
Awesome!
Quite a pretty track. I mean there are some changes i would personnally make, but then this track wouldnt be what you did. Never the less, i am extreamly impressed.
Thanks. :D
